Atlanta (September 2013). Turnstone Group LLC has hired David Edwards as Director of Development and Asset Management. This move will bolster its already strong real estate development expertise within the organization.
In his capacity as head of development and asset management for Turnstone’s investment portfolio, Edwards will serve to assist in the strategic direction of the disposition strategy, coordinate the joint venture relationships with builder and developer partners, and supervise asset management activities.
“Turnstone Group is an organization filled with highly motivated, talented people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with on a consulting basis since 2011,” said Edwards. “This group has amassed a very impressive portfolio of previously distressed real estate holdings, both residential and commercial, throughout the southeast and beyond.”
Edwards joins Turnstone Group after having spent a brief tenure as Director of Development Services for Batson-Cook Development Company and six years as president of Odyssey Development, a real estate project management firm. Prior to founding Odyssey, Edwards was Vice President of Development for Sivica Communities, a regional land development firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from Georgia Tech.
